One of my favorite breakfast places to eat in south haven! Typical American style diner food but every time we have gone it's been extremely good. I love their omelets are huge, and they make an awesome bbq pulled pork sandwich. You have to also get their homemade cinnamon roll, it's delicious!
The only negative thing is you may have to wait a while to be seated or to get your food if they are full. The kitchen isn't big enough for the size of the restaurant so be prepared and be patient. -

I have eaten here three times in a week. Biscuits and gravy are popular. Hubby enjoyed the Farmers hash. I stick to eggs, bacon, bread and pancakes. Pancake batter is delicious. Bread is house made and lovely. Cinnamon rolls are ginormous.
Only open to 2pm. Busy all the time. Parking is an issue each time. We park at hardware and walk up. Servers are friendly. Overall nice addition to SoHa. -

Yum! What a great breakfast! We lucked out with no wait on a Sunday morning, and someone leaving even told our friend (who drove us all there) that they were parked close and would be vacating the spot momentarily. Win!
I don't even remember what I got (but I certainly didn't leave hungry!), but my daughter got the enormous cinnamon roll. It was breakfast and a snack later on.
I'd love to stop in here when we're in the area again. -

Not good. My whole family was served and ate before my meal showed up. I would have asked the waitress for my food but she never checked in after my family was served. I really wanted to like this place but the service was horrible and my family thought the food was just adequate

I was hesitant to give Six Chicks a try after reading a few of the Yelp reviews but my friend and I (we like to call ourselves "The Brunch Babes") are always looking for a new place to chit chat and overeat at!
The verdict is- we loved it! Haters gonna hate.
Our server was very busy- but very sweet and attentive! We weren't in a hurry so it didn't bother us that she was running around like a chicken with her head cut off (ba dum tss- get it? Six Chicks- chickens? Lol anyways). If a place is busy and there's only one or two servers you just have to sit back and relax and cut them some slack.
The coffee was DELICIOUS!
I also had scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and a pumpkin walnut pancake! Everything was delicious. My friend had a breakfast burrito and a cinnamon roll pancake and loved them both!
Overall, it was a great experience and I will be back.
